Artist Biography:
Born and raised in Massachusetts, I've always drawn inspiration from the ever changing seasons and nature of New England. Much of my time over the past 18 years has been spent gracing some of the areas finest homes with decorative and mural painting. Portraiture, in addition to mural work, especially those of children, is one of my specialties.

My regular customers know that my style of painting can be readily adapted to their vision and decor. Many forms of art interest me. So, if a client wants a painting in the style of American Primitive Folk Art, I'm more than happy to oblige. Likewise, if they prefer Chinoiserie, I'm enthusiastic about that as well.

When painting strictly for myself, my mood and whatever is inspiring me at the moment dictates my style of work. Though quite often I have chosen traditional floral still life as my subject matter, lately I enjoy immersing myself into the realm of Minimalism.

At times I strive to achieve a look of great detail in order to challenge my technical painting ability. At other times, I prefer a simpler gestural quality. I'm far too multi-faceted to want my art to be characterized. So, when it comes to my paintings, I guess you could say that I'm 'simply complex'!
